For too long Governments have been tinkering around the edges of tax reform. We need bold vision so that our tax system works for all the citizens of Australia, not just big corporations and the wealthy. I want our tax system to support the social structures we need for a fair and equitable go for all. Our economy needs to be robust enough to weather the shocks of international uncertainty and the effects of climate change.

- Back the experts, say no to nuclear - The CSIRO finds it’s too costly, too slow and won't lower energy bills.
- Reduce the tax burden on small and medium businesses, cut red tape and simplify the rules so family businesses can focus on what matters — running their business.
- Make fossil fuel companies pay decent royalties for our natural resources and contribute more to our nation.
- Level the playing field by making sure overseas retailers are bound by the same standards and obligations as Australian businesses.
- Provide tax incentives to specifically help small and medium businesses.
- Strengthen the ACCC so it has the power and funding to enforce fair competition.
