For far too long we have been taken for granted and ignored.
The cost of living, housing, and environmental challenges are affecting us all, yet the major parties are offering little more than talk. The choices our Governments make now will shape the future for our children and grandchildren for years to come.
Sturt has been held by the Liberal Party for 71 out of the last 75 years. For far too long we have been taken for granted and ignored. And voting for another party won’t change this. We are a small state with relatively few MPs. South Australian MPs from both major parties are forced to support policies that are decided in the Eastern States, often with little regard for our unique needs here. These decisions, made in boardrooms thousands of kilometres away don't reflect the realities of life in South Australia - they also prioritise the needs of big corporate donors, lobbyists and party factions over the everyday needs of our electorate.
As a Community Independent, I’ll always put the people of Sturt first. Your voices will guide my work in the electorate and in Canberra. As a GP I am used to listening and helping people find practical solutions. I’m a steady hand who will work tirelessly for you, your family, and our local businesses.
Independents are powerful - especially this election
No matter which party is in power, I can work with both major sides to secure the best outcomes for our communities. An Independent is never in opposition - they sit on the powerful crossbench, not the backbenches. This election, a minority government is a real possibility - it's your chance to have real influence over government.
Together, we’ll apply practical, evidence-based solutions to the problems facing our communities, working for a safe, sustainable, and prosperous future for Sturt.
Voting for a Community Independent is voting for a new kind of politics. A politics where your voice can make a difference!
